Advise current and prospective students in one or more majors in the College of Arts and Sciences on academic program planning in person through walk-ins and appointments, and by phone and email. Participate in recruitment and retention efforts, including Red Letter Days and New Student Enrollment. Encourage overall well-being and adjustment to the University as well as exploration of interests as they relate to majors and careers. Assist students in identifying quality real-world experience through internships, research, education abroad, service, and leadership.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience in higher education with evidence of 1:1 student interaction in advising or related areas such as student affairs required. Ability to learn extensive requirements, policies and procedures, and use of variety of technology platforms necessary. Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, and time management skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment essential.
Master's degree preferred. Background in liberal arts and sciences desirable. Academic advising experience helpful. Public speaking skills preferred. Experience helping students explore and pursue career opportunities desirable.
