Chemeketa Community College welcomes applications for a Full-time Bilingual Navigator - Inclusive Career Advancement Program.
Position Summary:
The Navigator with the Inclusive Career Advancement Program (ICAP) position offers candidates the opportunity to join a statewide collaborative team of college, state, and community partners committed to increasing access and success for individuals with disabilities pursuing education and training as part of a 5-year Disability Innovation Fund Grant from the US Department of Education Rehabilitation Services Administration. The Navigator provides 1-on-1 academic advising and career coaching, and will work closely with community and campus partners including Oregon Vocational Rehabilitation, Student Accessibility Services, WorkSource Oregon, college academic and student affairs programs, and the wider statewide ICAP consortia to ensure successful participant outcomes.
This position will provide a link between clients working with Oregon Vocational Rehabilitation and college training programs in close partnership with the colleges' Student Accessibility Services department. The Navigator will comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as amended and section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and refer to Student Accessibility Services to determine appropriate accommodations.

Salary: $3,550.00 - $5,425.00 Monthly

The successful candidate will have:
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree from an accredited institution

One Year of related experience in social services, career/workforce development, and/or employment and training programs

Bilingual English/Spanish
