Essential Functions:
Teach above-mentioned coursework in Math.
Challenge thinking and develop the ability of students to engage in discourse and critical thinking with regard to ethical responsibility.
Collaborate with department faculty in curriculum implementation, student support, and continuous program improvement.
Develop and assist in the implementation of department-level assessment and measurement of student learning.
Participate in analyzing data and makes recommendations for curriculum and programmatic revisions where necessary.
Develop, collaborate, and implement synergistic programs for study.
Serve on campus committees.
Participate in full and part-time faculty meetings.
Challenge thinking, foster debate and develop the ability of students to engage in critical discourse and thinking, including critical evaluation of peer-reviewed articles and other published sources.
Transfer knowledge including theory, practical skills, methods, and techniques in his/her related field. Help students develop applied research skills.
Guide students in development of their projects.
Actively engage in academic advising.
Guide and counsel students toward personal and career development.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate degree MS or MA (Ph.D. preferred) in Mathematics or a related discipline such as physics, data science, etc.
Ability to teach the data science courses noted above.
Demonstrated teaching ability
A vibrant Christian faith, and commitment to an academically rigorous integration of faith and learning
Salary: Full-time, tenure track position. Salary determined on a per contract basis.
