UW Continuum College has an outstanding opportunity for a Market Research Analyst to join our growing research team, reporting to the Director of Market Research and Reporting Services. The Continuum College Market Research team provides data-based decision support for a portfolio of current and future academic programs. including professional certificates, courses, and degree programs, to ensure programmatic offerings remain fully aligned with student and employer demands.

Independently manage numerous reoccurring surveys across multiple program lines using Qualtrics. Collect data, conduct analysis, generate reports and present findings to stakeholders.
Represent research team for client meetings, design of studies, collection of data, analysis, reporting, and presentations.
Identify and interpret trends, present impactful insights using quantitative and qualitative approach on the performance of academic programs to inform business decisions.
Under the direction of the Director, provide research and insights on othe viability of new programs omodification of existing programs osunsetting existing programs
Independently work with research vendors to conduct research and collect secondary data (e.g., IPEDS and BLS government data, EMSI/Burning Glass job postings and industrial data)
Guide student research assistants who support primary and secondary research data collection, information preparation, and reporting
Support research unit for report archiving and research procedures.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated proficiency in data analysis and tools (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, other statistical or BI Tools)
Proven ability to establish and manage collaborative relationships with team members, subject matter experts, and senior leaders with the highest degree of professionalism.
Ability to explain the significance of data and trends to senior leaders and respond to questions with clarity and accuracy
Exemplary writing skills, including the ability to produce research reports for executive audiences.
Commitment to meet timelines, manage projects, and perform responsibilities with minimal supervision
Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, data analytics, market research or other academic areas that offer a solid background in quantitative research methods.
Minimum of 1-year professional work experience performing data collection, analysis, and presentation in a business setting.
An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
Master's degree in statistics, mathematics, data analytics, market research or other academic areas that offer a solid background in quantitative research methods.
Familiarity with the higher educator sector
