The Director of Equal Opportunity will lead the development, administration and day-to-day operations of comprehensive college-wide equal opportunity programs. Will also assess and investigate formal and informal complaints of discrimination and harassment from employees and students. Develops and administers Equal Opportunity (EO) training, including Title IX training for employees and students. The Director will have the opportunity to provide leadership for development and analysis of metrics associated with college wide employee and student equity compliance initiatives and makes recommendations for process and policy improvements.

The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited instruction with major course work in Business or Public Administration, Human Resources Management, or closely related field [required].
Progressively responsible experience in implementing programs and initiatives related to employee/student conduct or equal opportunity [required].
Experience with investigations related to employee/student conduct, harassment or discrimination claims [required].
Supervisory or team leader experience [required].
Have experience in responding to reports of discrimination and harassment for students and/or employees in a higher education setting.
Experience in addressing complaints related to Title IX [preferred].
Experience in developing and facilitating educational programming to students and/or employees on the topics of discrimination and harassment [preferred].
Knowledge of laws and regulations on the topic of discrimination and harassment, including Title IX, Title VII, ADA, and Section 504 [preferred].
Be comfortable and have experience in demonstrating care and concern to employees and students, especially those experiencing stressful or crisis situation [preferred].
