Reporting to the Director of CSIL, manage the operational, financial, and personnel functions of the Associated Students of the University of Wyoming (ASUW) Student Government. Advise, provide professional leadership development, and train student government students, programs and committees. Supervise full time staff of ASUW.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate and manage the administrative, financial, and personnel activities of designated large and/or complex project(s).
Develop project goals and objectives and revise as necessary; develop and implement a comprehensive plan for delivery and assessment of project objectives and goals.
Represent Wyoming, the University, and/or the ASUW Student Government at grant functions, or other meetings and events, which may include reporting on projects, planning collaborations with other project professionals, and evaluating projects.
Develop recruiting and funding strategies; plan and write grant proposals; negotiate approval of grant awards; write reports on status of funded projects.
Develop project budgets; disseminate funding and monitor expenses against budget allocations.
Direct and supervise the project personnel functions including hiring, training, supervision and evaluation of staff and student staff.
Consult with faculty, counselors, staff members, and the public to assist students and/or program participants associated with the project.
May provide academic and/or career advising for specific project.
Represent the department on University or division/college committees, as directed.
May perform additional special assignments.

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.
Education: Bachelors degree in Counseling, Communication, Human Resources, Public Administration, Political Science, or Humanities-related field.
Experience: 2 years of work-related experience fulltime positions in higher education areas such as Student Affairs, Student Services, or relevant areas of Academic Affairs.
Required licensure, certification, registration or other requirements:
Valid driver's license is required
Excellent written, oral, and verbal communication skills.
Education: Master’s degree in College Student Personnel, Counseling, Higher Education Administration, or human behavior related field.
Experience: Functional area experience in advising Student Government, academic advising, counseling college students, and leadership education; two years experience supervising full-time staff.
