Wytheville Community College Educational Foundation is seeking a candidate to manage scholarship programs.
Responsibilities of the position are as follows:
Process student scholarship applications, including verification of application information
Coordinate meetings of the scholarship award committee, including the preparation of application queries based on established scholarship criteria for committee review
Manage the scholarship database
Oversee the preparation of award and non-award letters
Assist with the promotion of scholarship programs, including development of marketing materials and conducting presentations and workshops
Oversee the tracking of scholarship requirements such as recipient satisfactory academic progress, volunteer service hours, letters of recommendation, donor âœthank youâ letters, etc.
Prepare reports as requested.
Conduct other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Academics & Institutional Advancement.
High school education or equivalent required; AAS in related field preferred.
Proven and effective organizational and management skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Excellent customer service skills
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of word processing, development of spreadsheets, database management, and oral presentations.
