Required Qualifications (As evidenced by attached resume): Bachelor's Degree (foreign equivalent or higher degree) . In lieu of degree, four  years of administrative experience in a student service setting at a college or university, or a combination of higher education and experience totaling four  full-time years may be considered. Two years of administrative experience in a n office setting .
Familiarity with Slate or PeopleSoft. Work experience in a College or University setting. Experience in a high-volume customer service setting. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiarity with scanning/imaging processes and procedures. Administrative experience in a student service setting at a college or university .
Brief Description of Duties : The incumbent's primary responsibilities will be to support the application and registration process for the Accelerated College Education Program (ACE). The incumbent will be responsible for data entry of course registrations for ACE participants, and manage inquiries from students, parents and participating schools. The incumbent will assist with the coordination and implementation of initiatives to promote and expand the ACE program. The incumbent will also have responsibility for processing applications and academic records for first year and transfer students using document imaging systems, Slate and PeopleSoft. The incumbent will need to become thoroughly familiar with the technology used, and be able to serve as a reference and problem solver for technological issues. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
Assist with the registration and grade roster submission for ACE applicants and schools. This includes data entry for all course registrations and the collection of grade rosters from participating high schools according to University deadlines.
Answer email and phone inquiries from ACE students, parents and participating school partners. Serve as general advisor to prospective students and their families regarding ACE offerings and the application process, including specific information on the status of individual applications.
Assist with outreach and marketing for the ACE programs. Prepare electronic and print marketing materials and assist with other efforts to promote and expand ACE initiatives. Assist with the coordination and implementation of events and information sessions to promote and support the ACE program
Process and review freshman and transfer admissions applications. Prepare, scan, and index applicant credentials utilizing Slate, Peoplesoft and document imaging systems. Utilize Workflow system to route electronic applicant folders to proper admissions personnel for processing.
Other duties or projects as assigned as appropriate to rank and departmental mission.
Special Notes: This is a full time appointment. FLSA Non Exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
