- Counsel and advise prospective freshman and transfer students on admissions requirements, policies, and procedures in-person, virtually, phone, and email. - Render admissions decisions on freshman and transfer applications, applying appropriate criteria, and using discernment and good judgment. - Conduct on and off-campus information sessions (virtual or in-person) for prospective students. - Plan/coordinate travel to in-state and out-of-state markets for recruitment purposes. - Develop relationships with on and off-campus partners. - Heavy fall and spring travel for recruitment purposes is required.
Minimum Experience / Education:
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
University Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from a four-year college or university and two years of administrative or office management experience in the student services or related field; or equivalent.

-Bachelor's degree required -Experience working with first-year and transfer students in an admissions office for a non-profit college or university -Rendering admissions decisions and/or advising for competitive academic programs -Experience with presenting to large groups both in person and in a virtual format -Demonstrated ability to build relationships with on and off-campus partners for recruitment purposes -Evidence of attention to detail and strong verbal/nonverbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills -Special consideration will be given to those with experience recruiting students to UNC Charlotte
