Justin-Siena High School is seeking a full-time Student Life Assistant for the 2021-22 school year.
Justin-Siena is a Lasallian Catholic college preparatory school. We serve approximately 550 students from the Napa Valley and neighboring Northern California communities, as well as international students from countries around the world. The Student Life Assistant at Justin-Siena is a member of the school’s Student Life Team charged with assisting the Athletic Department, Theatre Department, and Lasallian Student Life Office in fulfilling the mission of the school. The Student Life Assistant maintains student records, helps to coordinate and provides the needed support for the growth of our ALLHEART identity that characterizes Justin-Siena as a Lasallian Catholic school.
The essential responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Maintain student health and athletic records - including immunizations, rosters, eligibility status rosters, and accident reports
Support student events through planning, purchasing and organizing materials, personnel, and equipment
Provide supervision and coordination of the Student Testing Center

Competence in completion of assigned tasks
Bachelor’s degree and two to three years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of and ability to use MS Office and other local or web based applications; PowerSchool and Schoology knowledge preferred
Ability to set and follow timelines and work independently
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a caring and supportive manner
Ability to interact with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators responsively and professionally
Ability to speak, read, and write in English fluently, with Spanish a plus
Ability to work for long hours in a sedentary job in front of a computer or people
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required
Experienced at providing good customer service and support, including courtesy and tact to work effectively with volunteers and alumni leadership.
Ability to maintain confidential office information
Detail oriented and skilled at maintaining organization and management of multiple projects at once and on a timeline throughout the year.
Demonstrated ability to assume responsibility without direct supervision, exercise initiative and judgment; to prioritize and organize workload to complete assignments in a timely manner, and to make decisions within the scope of assigned authority.
Ability to handle deadlines and stressful situations in a calm, orderly and customer service oriented manner.
Justin-Siena is a co-educational independent Catholic High School sponsored by the De La Salle Christian Brothers. We serve more than 580 students from the Napa Valley as well as the neighboring Solano County and Sonoma Valley. We have a strong commitment to serve those who could not otherwise afford a quality Catholic secondary school experience with one third of our student body receiving tuition assistance. The school operates a small residential on-campus boarding program for both domestic and international students as well as an international host family program. We offer a college preparatory curriculum, a competitive interscholastic athletic program, a highly regarded performing arts department, and an array of co-curricular opportunities.
