This position provides full support for The William States Lee College of Engineering's Systems Engineering & Engineering Management (SEEM) and Office of Student Development and Success (OSDS). Manages budget, personnel, and any and all business processes, and assists faculty, students, staff, visitors. Report to Chair of SEEM and Director of OSDS. Handles routine office functions and ad-hoc projects as assigned. Handles correspondence and confidential information. Identifies inefficiencies and opportunities. Assists Dean's Office on Academic Affairs reporting and other items as needed.
Minimum Experience / Education:
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
University Preferred Qualifications:
Four year degree in a related business function and one year of experience in accounts reconciliation, business processing, office management, or human resources; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Four-year degree in business, accounting, or similar.
Three years of experience with financial data including reconciliation, grants, budgets, finance, accounting, etc.
Business experience or office management experience.
Higher education experience preferred.
Experience with Excel or other reconciliation tools such as QuickBooks, Malibu, or SAM.
Experience with Banner Finance preferred.
Displays a positive attitude and willingness to take on additional tasks as assigned.
Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to quickly learn new systems.
