Job Title: Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management

Reporting to the Vice President of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, the Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management (aVPEM) will be responsible for leading and advancing enrollment priorities across all campus units, to achieve enrollment and student success goals.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Leads a team of enrollment professionals and assists the Vice President in implementing and monitoring the College???s ongoing Academic Momentum Plans.
Provides strategic leadership of Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, Gateway Academic Center, Campus-wide Academic Momentum Initiatives, and initiating the development of enrollment strategy.
Provides institutional enrollment management leadership throughout the student life cycle, including student retention, and completion.
Supervise, motivates, and coaches a team of enrollment professionals to achieve student success targets.
Develops and implements enrollment strategies and annual plans to meet institutional priorities as defined by the mission of the College, the Strategic Plan, and institutional goals and objectives.
Manage a comprehensive, multi-channel student communication plan.
Collaborates with campus offices to fully leverage student management systems??? capabilities to enroll students.
Convening regular meetings with campus stakeholders to evaluate enrollment results and goals, assessing future enrollment projections, and collaboratively determining required changes to ensure enrollment targets are met.
Identifying and employing enrollment best practices and technologies in higher education to drive delivery of quality service to students.
Plans and implements change management processes including workflow, systems, and training, as necessary to ensure successful business transformation.
Develops and coordinates an integrated data and information flow model for enrollment and retention.
Retrieve, analyze, and utilizes relevant primary and secondary data to inform planning, decision making, and management practice.
This position is in CUNY's Executive Compensation Plan. All executive positions require a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and eight years' related experience.
The successful candidate will possess a Master???s degree in a relevant discipline, eight years of progressive experience in higher education and an outstanding record of accomplishment.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational, communication, and managerial skills and the capacity to be collaborative.
Knowledge of current trends and practices in student services and the ability to create and implement ???cutting edge??? progressive initiatives.
Ability to organize and implement change.
Ability to interview, select, train, supervise, and evaluate a diverse staff.
Demonstrate a leadership style that is collaborative and effective in achieving institutional priorities.
Skilled in maintaining a fair and decisive leadership style with the ability to make independent judgments.
Demonstrate the determination to achieve objectives, particularly when subject to time/cost constraints.
Knowledge of policy formulation and methods of analysis to establish practical policies and provide effective guidance in decision-making.
