Holy Names University invites applications for a full-time Internship Coordinator. The Internship Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of HNU's internship program, overseeing and coordinating the program including community outreach efforts, assisting students with finding internship opportunities, and managing communications with site supervisors. This is a hybrid position, working both on campus and remotely, 32 hours a week. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION: Develop materials and procedures for student internship processes across the multiple fields within the academic departments. Align students' internship experience with program-specific and university-wide learning goals. Meet students individually and in classroom groups for internship exploration assistance. Recruit and select internship sites; conduct site evaluations. Monitor/collect student evaluation; assess program success. Collaborate with Career Services Team Members to align and provide resources to students. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree and/or equivalent experience preferred. Experience working with, mentoring, and supervising college students from diverse cultural, racial, ethnic, socioeconomic and/or religious backgrounds. Program coordination experience; Career-relevant experience a plus. Ability to collaborate and communicate with multiple constituencies such as students, internship agencies, supervisors, colleagues and faculty. Commitment to equity, inclusion and multicultural competence in support of students' professional development. Ability to establish/secure strong community relationships with local employers/businesses. Positive, energetic, and student -focused approach.
