About the Opportunity: Reporting to the Associate Director of Program Operations within the Center for Student Involvement, the Office Manager assists with the execution of internal processes within the Center. Specifically, this role ensures that administrative and contractual elements associated with program management are efficiently executed through the use of technological systems. The Office Manager will manage the contract routing process within CSI, the Office of the General Counsel (OGC), and Student Affairs.
Responsibilities: The Office Manager will also ensure proper forms are completed and submitted to the Student Activities Business Office (SABO) to process payment for all performances, facility rentals and services under contract. The Office Manager will serve as the primary point of contact and administrator for the Center. The Officer Manager promotes the Center's customer service philosophy. The Office Manager will work collaboratively with their colleagues on the day-to-day management of the Center to improve customer service and operational efficiency.
The Office Manager will supervise, evaluate and train student and/or part-time staff who are responsible for the day-to-day management of internal processes. This includes the hiring and supervision of the front office support student staff, the Programming Crew, and the CSI Contracts Assistant. Given the unique co-op model and the opportunity for Northeastern students to learn anytime, from anywhere, and with anyone, the Office Manager will be expected to maintain a flexible schedule to ensure success of the needs of The Center and its stakeholders. The Center for Student Involvement is a highly collaborative unit that strives to engage students at all levels of our operation. As such, the Office Manager will explore methods to increase opportunities for students to become more engaged in our co-curricular efforts.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with college students, financial management, and/or contract management. The Office Manager must be able to work within a fast-paced, global campus network and possess a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion. The successful candidate must demonstrate independence while possessing excellent problem-solving skills and exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills. As a member of the Division of Student Affairs, the Office Manager will align his/her/their work with the established mission, vision, and literacies of the division.
