The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at Michigan State University is search for a Director of Recruiting Operations for Women's Basketball. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Organize and manage the summer recruiting calendar
Organize recruit visits for juniors and seniors
Organize game day visits by prospective student athletes
Quality control all recruits to assure we have pertinent and accurate information (cell number, email, physical address, home address etc.)
Organize and manage our recruiting database
Stay up to date with our compliance office and NCAA recruiting rules
Serve as liaison between departments, helping students deal with compliance, student services, and strength and conditioning, travel plans, housing, parking and legal matters.
Assist in coordinating team travel
Assist with player and non-game public appearances
Ongoing education series on how to adapt to life after college
Assist with alumni events
Organize and assist with summer camps
Other duties as assigned by the head coach
Determine equipment needs and specifications, make budget recommendations, research products, meet with manufacturer representatives and vendors, and initiate paperwork to purchase athletic equipment in order to maintain adequate inventory levels.
Organize equipment identification and storage.

A bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience working within a Division 1 basketball program
