The Academic Advisor I will be responsible for providing a personalized advising experience for Honors students that includes: academic guidance, schedule building, recommending courses, and determining appropriate education solutions to Lewis Honors College students.
This position will coordinate college-specific programs (i.e. Early Assurance Program, Upper-Level Admissions) and associated co-curricular events. Support co-curricular life of the Honors College through assisting Honors faculty, the Director of College Life, and the Center for Personal Development. This advisor will develop plans that enable students to complete their Honors curriculum and program-specific workshops and information sessions to assist upper-class Honors students with post-graduation planning. Will contribute and/or coordinate with University Registrar for commencement and diploma reporting. This position will assist with campus graduation and awards events and programs.
