The OSU-Cascades Office of Student Success is seeking an Experiential Learning Coordinator. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) 12-month, professional faculty position. This position is located in Bend, OR.
This position serves as part of the Career Development Center team and will have the opportunity to contribute substantially to the growth of experiential learning opportunities for students and develop new and innovative ideas and programs at a growing university.
The successful candidate profile includes experience initiating, building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external constituents as well as strong organizational skills and ability to successfully coordinate programs and events.
OSU-Cascades, located in Bend, Oregon is a campus of Oregon State University. Established in 2001, the university currently enrolls more than 1,300 students in bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs. The campus expanded to a four-year university in 2015, opened its 10-acre campus in fall 2016, and the Oregon legislature approved additional funding in 2017 and 2018 for continued campus expansion, which is currently in progress. The campus has ambitious enrollment goals to reach 3,000 students and is engaged in building a culturally diverse and community-centric educational environment.

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in Student Affairs, Business, Human Resources, Counseling or related field.
Minimum of two years of professional experience in career services, internship coordination, employer relations, human resources, alumni relations, recruiting or related field.
Demonstrated success in developing and stewarding relationships across organizations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong planning and organization skills with attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to work both as a member of a team and independently.
Commitment and demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Proficiency in a variety of computer and web-based programs and databases.
Proven ability (via application process) to produce an effective resume and cover letter.
Ability to successfully pass required background checks.
