Job Summary: This position will close for applications at midnight, Sunday, July 11, 2021. Eastern Washington University is seeking an Undergraduate/Graduate Services Administrator-CSTEM. This position will provide oversight and coordination for recruitment, retention, outreach, and engagement activities within the College of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (CSTEM).
* The position will report to the Dean and will provide support to the Dean, Associate Dean, College Finance Officer, and the College Administrative Specialist. The position will serve as a resource in conjunction with College Office personnel, departments, and programs on the development of integrated marketing recruitment, retention, outreach, and engagement plans. The position will work throughout CSTEM and with staff in the Divisions of Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, and Advancement on retention, recruitment, and community outreach efforts.

Required Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree; * Knowledge and/or experience working in higher education; * Experience in event support and social media maintenance; * Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; * Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage several projects at once; * Must have valid drivers license; * Demonstrated ability to apply a culturally responsive and flexible approach that is supportive to the divers needs, including universal access, of our students, faculty, staff and the public; * Ability to work independently and confidentially.
Preferred Qualifications: * Masters Degree; * Familiarity with EWU general education and other graduation requirements; * Familiarity with STEM programs and coursework; * Experience with student support services; * Familiarity with digital enrollment management, student engagement platforms, and other enterprise data systems.

Job Duties: % of Time: 30 Responsibility / Duty:Recruitment * Coordinate new student orientation events, Admitted Student Days and other scheduled events involving prospective or incoming students; * Coordinate with EWU Office of Admissions on meetings and events with K-12 schools and community colleges; * Coordinate College Recruitment and Outreach Committee; * Support recruitment efforts at external community events (e.g. Regional Science Fairs, STEM Career Days, Fairchild Airshow, etc); * Support college and department engagement opportunities to the external community (e.g. Darwin Day, Spooky Science, Seminars, etc); * Assist with recruitment from dual-enrollment programs (such as College in the High School and Running Start). % of Time: 50 Responsibility / Duty:Engagement & Outreach * Coordinate support for CSTEM academic student clubs and organizations, including: * Collaborate with the college and Division of Student Affairs to develop and promote academic student clubs in STEM disciplines, * Liaison with other campus constituencies in club governance, * Support student leadership with governance and administration of STEM clubs, * Provide training, development, and policy support for STEM faculty/staff club advisors, * Coordinate with other campus constituencies to support STEM club events; Support the development of student leadership in CSTEM, including the CSTEM creation and support of a STEM Student Senate; * Coordinate and assist in implementation of Student Research Grants and club activity funds; * Work with the CSTEM outreach committee to develop outlets/forums to connect STEM- interested students on campus to peers and activities; * Coordinate and maintain College web site and social media sites; Essential Function Indicator: Yes
