Indiana University's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), a department within the Division of Student Affairs and integrated within IU's Student Health Center is a diverse interdisciplinary team located in beautiful Bloomington, Indiana, a welcoming college town surrounded by hills, forests, lakes, biking and hiking trails. There are diverse cultural events, a broad array of food, restaurants and people from across the country and the world.
The Psychologist's primary role involves the delivery of clinical services including individual, couples, therapy and support groups and crisis counseling. She/he/they will assist with reducing stigma and stereotypes that discourage minority students from seeking counseling. The Psychologist collaborates with other members of Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) multi-disciplinary staff as well as the Student Health Center's medical clinic. Participates on CAPS' after hours crisis response team on an as needed basis, in the event of larger scale campus crises. The psychologist also provides outreach and consultation services to the University community, particularly those directed toward underserved students and CAPS' pre-doctoral intern training program. The Psychologist's work in all of these domains is expected to be multi-culturally informed and consistent with the learning objectives of the Division of Student Affairs.
Ph.D. from an APA accredited program in psychology and one year of experience in post-doctoral clinical service under supervision of a licensed psychologist.
Completion of a pre-doctoral internship that meets licensure standards for the State of Indiana.
Licensed in the State of Indiana, or eligible for licensure within 180 days from date of hire.

College counseling center experience.
