Advertised Job Summary:
Provides administrative support to the Director of Graduate Studies for the School of Visual Art and Design (SVAD) and serves as a liaison between the School, the Graduate School and University offices. Advises SVAD Graduate Director on matters related to student service programs, policies, and procedures. Assists with graduate advisement and scheduling. As Coordinator of Community Programs this position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the Columbia arts community in support of SVAD Graduate Student recruitment and professionalization, and is responsible for coordinating student and visiting artist exhibitions at Stormwater Studios. This work supports professional development for SVAD graduate and undergraduate students and fosters community engagement, including the development of educational programs, events, and interdisciplinary activities related to the arts and culture.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Masters degree in Student Services or related field, or bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience.
