Advertised Job Summary:
This position is the primary after-hours and weekend liaison between our customers and the Operations unit. The primary focus will be to navigate and prioritize customer requests to ensure the appropriate and timely response for emergencies and for entering into the work order system all other requests. In addition, this position will be charged with periodic inspections of entrance doors and exterior lighting and for ensuring that work orders are entered for all needed repairs. This position will be the first point of after-hour contact for all our customers and so a focus on customer service and communication, collaboration with key stakeholders, troubleshooting, and problem solving is essential. The Evening Services Officer will manage administrative systems and processes which are integrated with other offices within University Housing and other campus offices. The Officer will receive information, some that may be sensitive, to develop maintenance requests and will re-direct to appropriate parties. Using computerized work-order management systems and processes, the Officer will maintain a database of maintenance needs, purchases, materials usage, and cost accounting. The work hours are 12:00am to 8:30 am, Sunday through Thursday.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree, or high school diploma and 4 years work experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or equivalency. Valid driver's license required.
