The Director of Graduate affairs will be reporting to the Associate Dean of the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences (GRS)
Overall management and supervision of the Records and Graduate Services staff and all matters they oversee.
Fostering growth in student services and support, data management and acquisition, curricular changes, records policies, and successful completion of graduate degrees including oversight of the Graduate Allocation and Graduate Events budgets.
Oversee the implementation of policy and procedural changes and ensures that their implications to all constituents are considered thoughtfully and negotiated to foster positive outcomes.
Continuously advocate for graduate student health, wellness, professional development, and success through collaboration with faculty, staff, students, central administration, and GRS and CAS staff.
Bachelor's degree and five to eight years of experience required; Master's degree preferred.
Experience in higher education administration is required ; experience working with graduate students preferred.
Supervising and counseling skills required.
