Leads activities of the MBA career development office including maintaining employer relations as well as growing and managing the portfolio of recruiting companies. Builds relationships with business and non-profit sector leaders in an effort to match their opportunities. Promotes the School of Business MBA program to students, the public, international institutions and prospective employers.
Master’s degree in business administration or other related field and professional experience in the area of student services. Recruitment, applicant placements, or human resources working experience is preferred as well as International and academic experience. Must have or be able to obtain a passport. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Must have demonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals and groups from college students to industry contacts and must possess excellent communication skills. Must be able to understand, interpret and apply College, State and Federal regulations, policies and procedures, including FERPA, records retention and security and international studies guidelines. Strong skills in web based applications, databases, social media, websites and MS Office applications are required. Report preparation, presentation and analysis skills are essential.
Overnight, out of town and possibly international travel will be required. Some evening and weekend work will be required.
