The Enterprise Application Administrator is a team player whose primary function is to provide support and maintain various applications that include Blackboard, LMS, Starfish, CS Access Gold, and others. This role will also work closely with Safety & Security and Student Services departments. This role will work closely with the Educational Technologist to manage the St. John Fisher College’s Blackboard environment.
Manage customer reported incidents, service requests, and change requests. (20%)
Collaborate and complete project work and support application testing with functional partners and Programmer Analysts. (20%)
Maintain and support application integration and environment configurations. (20%)
Coordinate patch, release, and maintenance activities for assigned applications and related integrated software. Collaborate with the functional partners to establish system defaults, policies and procedures, and strategic plans for systems use and expansion. (10%)
Coordinate more technical problems with application vendors directly and with the appropriate internal OIT Staff. (10%)
Exploring new learning technologies and how they integrate with responsible Enterprise Applications (5%)
Responsible for managing the archiving and retrieval process for responsible Enterprise Application. (5%)
Manage user roles. (5%)
Manage application version change control process. (5%)

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Prior experience in supporting users of Enterprise systems is highly desirable in this technical back end role.
Familiar with user aspects, problems, implementation, set up and maintenance of online courses.
Adept at troubleshooting user problems; supportive and cooperative with users.
Demonstrated experience with system administration.
Communicate well with others both verbally and in writing and be able to effectively interact with administration, faculty, staff and other outside contacts.
Organize and prioritize workload in order to meet necessary deadlines.

Professional experience, preferred but not required, with the following applications:
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Podcasting and streaming video technologies such as Ensemble.
Possess advanced technical computer skills, including experience with content management software (CMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, basic programming, basic query writing, and data analysis.
Experience with vendor relationship management.
Experience writing reports from enterprise systems data.
