Student Affairs Officer position for newly created Engineering Technology Department housed within the College of Engineering. Within this position the candidate must be provide student advising to new and current student population.
The candidate must work closely with the chair of the department to insure student success and calculate student success measurements. Must be able to prove action plan to meet student retention and graduation targets. The candidate must provide career advise and be fully engaged in a student's current pathway. Must be heavily involved with recruitment and develop recruiting plans in coordination with chair and current COE advising standards. Must create academic partnerships with local universities, with the department and coincide with directives given in the COE advising office. Must be able to assist in classroom and program evaluations as requested.
