The Administrative Coordinator in the Office Student Development and Leadership (OSDL), under the supervision of the Director of the OSDL, will help to support a dynamic department committed to provide students with opportunities for co-curricular learning; and sustaining a culture of lifelong leadership development, training and education.
â€¢Assist with Student orientation, recruitment and outreach efforts and support student engagement events
â€¢Process budget requisitions and invoices for payment
â€¢Maintain program information on department website(s), manuals, and other print or electronic sources
â€¢Manage and monitor program social media efforts
â€¢Coordinate and attend of various evening and weekend events
â€¢Oversee student staff and federal work study student
â€¢Coordinate logistics for departmental events and meeting
â€¢Maintain student enrollment and information databases
â€¢Collects statistical data as needed for reports and surveys
â€¢Serve as liaison to various College offices to ensure smooth operations and verification of student information
â€¢Working alongside communication, creates and distributes marketing and promotional materials for department programming
Bachelor's Degree required.
â€¢Experience in administration of public service, social service, education and counseling or mentoring program; work with educators and students
â€¢Computer proficiency using standard office software programs/applications, including Access database and Google docs
â€¢Demonstrate understanding of student activities on college campus
â€¢Ability to work well and interact effectively and plan programs with diverse college population
â€¢Strong writing and communication skills
â€¢Flexibility to work productively in a fast paced, time-sensitive, high volume and dynamic student-focused and customer responsive environment
â€¢Strong presentation, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to work and interact effectively, collaboratively, and cooperatively with a diverse community of learning, students, faculty and staff
â€¢Orientation to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments, establish priorities and meet deadlines
â€¢Experience with social media platforms
