This position is full-time and works approximately 37.5 hours per week. Position hours are generally Monday through Friday, 8:30 am. - 5 pm. Must have the ability to travel to on and off-campus locations and to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Under the direction of the Director of Administration, Finance, and Operations, the person in this position is responsible for high-level research design and data reporting and analysis; and complex financial modeling and analysis that influences strategic direction and new initiatives. This position plays a key role in managing projects across multiple directors, managers, department administrators, and the Dean of the School, supporting cross-functional initiatives, internal communications, human resource management, and process improvements; and oversees day to day administrative and operational functions of University College.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting and Analysis:
Oversee the identification, retrieval, and manipulation of data from various data sources to perform analysis, assessment, and reporting necessary to make decisions to support strategic initiatives, program development, and ongoing projects and decision making; present complete and concise recommendations to leadership based on research and analysis outcomes.
Determine reporting needs and create customized user reports (standard and ad hoc)� to meet operational needs; perform data collection, analysis and reporting for complex budgetary, financial, and resource projects needed to manage financial resources and drive improvements in resource allocation.
Develop and maintain expertise in current and future accounting, budgeting and reporting tools and systems to ensure reliable, verifiable and consistently retrievable data across the organization.
Perform complex analysis and financial modeling based on anticipated expenditures and financial performance targets to determine pricing and financial viability of programs and partnerships with community and corporate entities; develop conclusions, and present high-level summary of recommendations.
Plan, develop and execute research and data reporting that aids in the evaluation and implementation of enrollment management strategies designed to meet enrollment goals for University College.
Manage multiple complex, high priority projects across the financial, human resources and student systems.
Develop, plan, and lead the implementation of short- and long-term projects to achieve goals and objectives; create and manage work groups to accomplish projects and tasks; hold project status meetings to ensure stakeholders are involved in decision-making and that effective communication plans are in place.
Ensure special projects led by others within the organization are developed effectively and are meeting milestones and remain on track; aid in completion of cross-functional projects.
Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities such as new initiatives, relationships, program development, and operational efficiency; establish strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including University College senior leadership, faculty, staff, and students.
Develop and participate in communication with various leadership and staff on high priority topics and issues.
Foster a strong workplace environment and contribute to change management strategies.
Anticipate and identify issues for discussion at key management meetings; prepare and/or manage the preparation of reports, presentations and responses as necessary.
Serve as University College liaison to Facilities Planning & Management, technology support staff, Telecommunications, Software Licensing, and other external vendors in planning and delivery of resources and support.
Maintain efficient operations for university college; analyze current state, make recommendations for improvement; oversee planning and implementation of new initiatives.
Serve on internal operations team collaborating with University Information Technology (WUIT) to ensure IT needs are supported and services are delivered; partner with WUIT in developing project charter and monitoring projects created in response to new technology needs and program delivery.
Other duties as assigned to support university college.
Five years of related experience.
Advanced degree preferred with over seven years of relevant experience.
Prior experience working in a University environment, especially in administration, operations, project development, finance and management.
Understanding of SQL and query and reporting analysis; experience with Workday, Tableau, Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and project management software, e.g. Confluence.
The hiring range for this position is $60,801 - $97,363.50 annually.
