The Program Coordinator for Resilience and Mindfulness Programs coordinates, develops, implements, and evaluates comprehensive resilience-building, mindfulness, and stress management and reduction services for students, faculty, and staff at the University of South Carolina. The program coordinates and advances the established Resiliency Project and its offerings to student leaders, faculty, staff, & professional students; collaborates with housing partners on continued integration of resiliency as a pillar of residential curriculum. Coordinates and advances the C.A.L.M. (Carolinians Actively Living Mindfully) Oasis mindfulness space and programming; develops meaningful partnerships across campus about mindfulness and meaningful use of a dedicated space. Under the general supervision of the Associate Director of Campus Mental Health Initiatives, this professional participates in the development of strategic plans, goals and measurable objectives for mental health initiatives and services and the overall healthy campus department. Increases engagement to increase access to psychosocial strategies to optimize faculty, staff, and student effectiveness in their role and to improve overall satisfaction and work-life balance. This professional works with team members to develop and implement suicide prevention initiatives to the campus community. All objectives correlate with the provision of safe and quality patient care with our accredited Patient-Centered Medical Home.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Master's degree in health education, health promotion, or related field and 2 year experience or bachelor's degree in health education, health promotion or related field and 4 years related experience.
