Assistant Director, Admissions - Undergraduate Admissions, School of Arts and Sciences - (21001224)
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions recruits potential applicants and selects students for the School of Arts & Sciences, School of Engineering, and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University. The Admissions team embraces the mission of the university and the goals of the undergraduate admissions office which include attracting and enrolling a diverse cohort of first year and transfer students via a robust recruitment and enrollment initiatives plan that has equity and inclusion as its guiding principle.
Reporting to the Associate Director responsible for Campus events, the Assistant Director will plan and execute virtual and on campus events for prospective undergraduate students. Successful candidates will have experience in virtual and on campus event planning and management, proficiency with Slate and Zoom event management, and skill working with student workers and campus partners. Attention to detail and a dedication to a collaborative work environment are necessary.
Knowledge and experience typically acquired by:
Bachelor's Degree and 2-3 years of experience in admissions, college counseling or related field.
Proficiency with CRM data management software and Microsoft Office suite
Public speaking and presentation skills
Valid US Driver's license
Experience with Slate
Experience with committee-based evaluation or team-based reading
