Assists with student leadership development and civic engagement initiatives for all students; assists in the management of registered student organizations; leads regularly scheduled service programs which connect students with the local community.
At least a bachelor's degree and two years of related university or college experience in civic engagement and leadership activities; strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to work an unconventional schedule including evenings and weekends to support campus activities, programs and events.
A master's degree in higher education and/or student personnel; strong organizational and management skills; ability to work independently; knowledge and experience with current trends in civic engagement, leadership development, and risk management as it pertains to student organizations. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Previous experience with student group management software.
