Advertised Job Summary:
Conduct patient triage and evaluation within approved guidelines and scope of practice. Assist nurse(s), physician(s) and other providers in patient examinations, treatments, procedures, preparing exam rooms between patients and care for patients in Center for Health and Well Being's Primary Care. Perform dressing changes, nebulizer treatments and ear irrigations. Administer medications and injections as ordered. Obtain patient data such as vital signs, health history, chief complaint, routine medications, drug and other noted allergies. Operate and maintain tabletop sterilizer and run biological indicator test to ensure quality sterilization process of medical instruments. Maintain appropriate inventory of medical supplies. Make and follow up on patient appointments. Provide administrative support for patients checking in and out and procedures to determine eligibility for service, fees and community resources. Participate in Quality Assurance initiatives in regards to patient care. Serve on Student Health Services committees as assigned.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Graduation from accredited training program and 1 year experience, or high school diploma and 3 years related experience.
