Residential and Community Living Resident Director (Multiple positions available)
Under the general direction of an Assistant Director, the Senior Resident Director is responsible for the direct supervision, training and evaluation of one (1) to three (3) full time Assistant Resident Directors, and up to 50 student staff (including Resident Assistants, Real Talk Facilitators, Hall Council members, & Desk Attendants).
With a primary responsibility for residence halls communities, the Resident Director is a member of the Residential and Community Living Lead Staff team responsible for a comprehensive living learning program for the 10,000+ residents in Housing. Provide leadership in the development of a residential curriculum program for residents, while creating and maintaining a high level of safety, security, and well-being for all residents. Actively collaborates in the planning and presentation of a multi-faceted selection, training and development program for student staff. Provides direction and leadership in the 24/7 emergency response system, ~200 student conduct and counseling sessions, supervising the front desk operations, and development and management of the buildings' annual community development plan.
This is a one year contract position starting in early August, with the possibility of 3 additional 1-year terms (up to 4 total). This position will require night and weekend hours as needed.
$4,360.33- $4,485.33/mo. A furnished apartment and meal plan when the dining halls are open is a part of the compensation.

- Bachelor's degree required.
- Master's degree or equivalent working experience in Residential Life, Housing, or Student Affairs.
- Candidates should have demonstrated effective managerial experience in residence halls, including staff supervision and training, counseling, advising, and programming for a diverse college student body.
