Position Status: Full-Time
Position Summary: Office of Student Activities. Reporting to the Assistant Director, the Student Services Coordinator provides student advising, training, leadership development and campus programming oversight in the Office of Student Activities on the Armstrong Campus in Savannah, Georgia. The position works occasional evening and weekends.
Directs advising/supervising and development of the University Program Board (student programming body) on the Armstrong Campus.
Assists with campus and community-wide programming initiatives.
Provides leadership development/training opportunities and serves as a resource to 75+ registered student organizations and their faculty/staff advisor.
Provides assistance in developing reports and graphical interpretation of data and information.
Supervises a Graduate Assistant employee.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; legally authorized to work in the United States; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment
Preferred Education: Proficiency with Google applications and Campus Labs.
Preferred Experience:: Two or more years of related experience in a higher education setting; experience working with and advising student organizations; experience working with campus programming and advising a campus programming board; budget management experience.
