Summary: Working as part of a dynamic, innovative, and supportive student affairs team, this staff member will design, develop, implement, and evaluate co-curricular and extra-curricular programs that promote a seamless and inclusive student experience for School of Business students. This role allows a student services staff member to support the operational needs of a robust and holistic student services function, while leveraging their unique passions and interests. This team member will have exciting opportunities to foster student success and engagement across remarkably talented and diverse professional school populations in a nationally prominent educational environment.
Coordinates School-wide iconic events, initiatives, and gatherings for the School of Business, including new student transition events, honor/recognition activities, graduation weekend events, and other on-going student programming, including liaising with all internal and external stakeholders where appropriate.
Works with the Sr. Associate Director to serve as a coordinating adviser for the WFUSB graduate student involvement system and student groups/organizations as they develop and implement activities that support the School’s strategic vision.
Develop and deliver appropriate educational resources for graduate student leaders.
Provide operational support and assist with managing logistics for student programs and events hosted by graduate student organizations.
Provides support and guidance to faculty advisers of graduate student organizations including how to appropriately manage risk and resources.
Assist student organizations with support and knowledge regarding University and School policies and procedures.
Manage student organization programming budgets.
Actively support undergraduate business student projects and initiatives in conjunction with various curricular pursuits.
Collaborates with degree program staff and faculty colleagues to provide support for strong student communities by fostering understanding, increasing cross-cultural exchange, to deepening student learning about self and others in diverse community.
Collaborates with other Integrative Student Services staff in supporting the operational needs of a robust and fully featured student services function that supports both traditional and online students, in both centralized and program-specific environments.
Coordinates with key campus partners in other units of the university regarding student engagement, inclusion, and success initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Master’s degree in student affairs/personnel administration or a closely related field is strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree plus two to five years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Ability to work effectively with a broad spectrum of student populations, staff, and faculty colleagues

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on a variety of complex tasks concurrently, and the ability to prioritize tasks against key goals
Knowledge and understanding of academic cultures, rules, and regulations; including knowledge of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
Knowledge of student development and operational assessment processes and procedures
Strong interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication, and listening capabilities
Excellent organizational skills, with accuracy and attention to detail
