The University of Massachusetts Amherst Student Engagement and Leadership (SEL) department invites applications for a Campus Activities Program Coordinator to advise the University Programming Council (UPC) and Registered Student Organization Councils (RSOC) in planning events and implementing initiatives supporting university goals for the student experience and student success.
Event planning, promotion and management, and implementation of appropriate risk mitigation strategies
Mandate compliance requirements leadership development and associated assessment efforts.
Consistently demonstrated collaboration with stakeholders and fostering this behavior by UPC and student groups
Communicate with broadly diverse populations
Buildpositive and effective working relationships with student leaders and colleagues
Appropriate application of prevailing policies and practices associated with this role
Supervise 1-10 student employees and work some nights and weekends.
This role is considered essential to strategic student retention efforts and reports to an Associate Director of Student Engagement and Leadership (SEL), or designee.
