We are currently seeking skilled and team-oriented applicants for the following position: Advisor for Campus Programs - EWU Spokane
Under the guidance of the Director of Student Activities, Involvement and Leadership, this position facilitates the planning, implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive campus-wide student activities and involvement program at the EWU Spokane campus. The Advisor is additionally responsible for the general advising, program development and services that support the success of student clubs and organizations on the EWU Spokane campus. This position participates in the planning and assessment of the Office of Student Activities, Involvement and Leadership mission and yearly goals.
The Advisor holds a full-time, twelve-month, administrative exempt that reports directly to the Director of Student Activities, Involvement and Leadership. The position requires the ability to work frequent evenings and weekends.

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Education or related field.
Experience working with student activities, student organizations, student union or related area, such as event planning.
A minimum of one year's experience in a higher education field or relevant professional position.
Desktop publishing experience.

Master's degree in Student Personnel, Counseling, Education or related field.
Involvement and/or leadership experience with a campus programming board or other student organization. (At least two years of experience with programming boards in either an advisory or leadership capacity is recommended.)
Experience advising students in the development and implementation of student activities and programs.
Demonstrated success in the development and implementation of student programs to include culturally diverse student populations.
Budgeting management experience.
Risk management experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of undergraduate student development theory and practice.
Assessment and the development of learning outcomes.
