The Assistant Director will collaborate with the Director to design and develop comprehensive academic support and student success programs for the campus. The Assistant Director will focus efforts on providing services to at-risk students and sub-populations including student-athletes and under-served students with the goal of improving academic performance and increasing student retention.
A bachelor’s degree is required, and a master’s degree is preferred. The area of academic specialization and experience should be associated with one or more areas of academics at the University. An understanding of student development theory is highly desired along with experience in counseling students regarding their academic progress.
