FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT: The Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College invites applications for the position of assistant or associate professor. The start date is August 28, 2018. The research focus is open to any aspect(s) of higher education. Requires teaching graduate-level courses for the Master of Science in Education in Higher Education Administration. Possible courses with a higher education focus include history and structure, diversity, law, international issues, research methods, and student services. Courses are held in the evening. May require teaching on Friday evenings, Saturday daytime, and in fully online and hybrid formats.
Appointment as an assistant or associate professor requires evidence of publications and/or a significant research agenda in higher education administration. The appointment is tenure-track.
QUALIFICATIONS: Appointment as either an assistant or associate professor requires the candidate to have completed a doctorate prior to the start date for the fall 2018 semester. The position is open to any academic discipline.
